DEVOTIONAL
The worship service creates an atmosphere where individual believers interact with a transcendent God within the covenant community. We gather to exalt our worthy God for his mighty acts of salvation. What we do in worship is grounded in the Scriptures.
The Bible is our only rule of faith and practice. Both Old and New Testaments serve as authority and source for our times of worship.
From these Sacred Sources we glean Psalms, hymns, doxologies, benedictions, confessions, prayers, and ascriptions of glory and patterns of worship. What we do in worship must always be oriented toward Christ.
Do you seek to know Jesus Christ as YOUR personal Lord and Savior? If so, by praying the below with sincerity, you can receive the gift of salvation. It will indeed change your life.
Dear God,
I come to you now in the Name of Jesus, confessing that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who died for my sins, and rose again. Making intercession I believe that He now sits on the right hand of God the Father, making intercession for me.
Your Word says that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Lord, I repent of my past life of sin and ask your forgiveness. Jesus, come into my life and make me a new person. I now call upon the name of Jesus and therefore, by faith, I am saved.
From this day forth I pledge my life to you, Praise the Lord!.
Thank you for saving me in Jesus' Name, Amen. Praise given to the Lord!
